Brookside

Clean water will become increasingly scarce.

Inspiration for this scene came from a small wetland that was created by seepage from Crater Lake and a five-minute walk from my stone cabin.

I knew that I wanted the colors muted, but on the wall alongside my other works, it looks so subdued!

Other than aligning small pieces to make a stem, blade of grass or needle, I was more carefree than ever in placing pieces. It is good to not have to worry about misplaced body parts.
